We had less progress rather than obstruction. We managed to succsessfuly film shots in the church from a high almost birds eye view. We all got along as a group which also made the work we had to do go alot smoother because instead of all disagreeing with each other we all had a chance to put our ideas in and then develop them, we fed off of each others ideas

obstacles

19th november
when we first started filming we encountered many obstacles, the first one was the vibrating of the phone this is because we couldn't get the camera to focus on the phone. We then had to film  in the church this was very problematic because we had to find the priest in the church to get permission then having to get the right angles for our film, Loukas had to climb up an unsecure ladder which was very risky of him. We also had trouble looking for somewhere to film the second part of the film because we couldn't find a house to film it in or an actors to use in it. - we over came most of these problems and spent the weekend discussing how we are going to get around the problems we haven't resolved yet.

3.1 What I learnt by doing the preliminary exercise

The preliminary exercise has taught me how to use the camera and to work comfortably in a group with people I have never worked with before. As someone who has very little experience in using the camera I have learnt how to set up the camera, how to set up the tripod, different shots we can use and techniques. I found the preliminary exercise hard because I was put in a group with people who had not done media before therefore we were all naive of what to do and how to do it. I also found that we learnt form one another as well as experimenting with the camera.
During the process i was asked to set up the tripod which i something that i had never done before and it looked quite complicated i was also anxious about breaking the equipment, when i got taught how to use it, i was shocked by how simple it was to use and put away, this made me more confident in my work because i felt that i could be responsible with the equipment without damaging it and being able to put it away properly.
The next lesson we got taught how to use 'I movie' which is a program that edits your films, this was an extremely useful lesson as I am not very used to using macs. The lesson helped me get comfortable with using Macs and helped me with editing the film.
We didn't finish editing our film because only two members of the group had turned up.
